All clubs and workshops cover the following:

All equipment, modern sewing machines, patterns & fabrics are supplied in the fees

Courses are held at the Kings Hill Community Hall, near West Malling

Professional designer will help you realise your potential in small, friendly group.  Groups are usually 3 students per session or maximum 4

All students are given their own machine to work on

No experience necessary and all abilities are catered for

Tea/coffee and biscuits always included in a 2 hour session

If you have your own sewing machine, but a bit unsure of what it can do then you can bring it along and learn on your own machine

The "Coffee & Biscuits" morning club & "Cocoa & Biscuits evening adult Sewing Club
Weekday mornings & evenings 2 hours duration
Firstly you do not need to bring anything with you, all the equipment you can possibly need is provided. There are also lots of lovely fabrics to inspire you but if you have something specific you want to create such as  a garment or you require more than a few metres then it’s always better that you choose the fabric. I can also give you advice on where to shop.
As I’ve outlined, the adult course is much looser, we don’t aim to cover a strict syllabus and you work at your own pace. If you have ideas, things you’ve seen in magazines, etc bring them along and we can make our own patterns.  You can always flip through my portfolio to inspire you. The first session is usually spent getting inspired and excited about what I can help you achieve.

If your half-finished project is frustrating you or a particular skill such as making button holes or zip insertion eluding you then I can help you get back on track.

Look at the gallery page to see pictures of my students’ creations. We are currently making a lined handbag, summer hat, pyjama bottoms, dressing gown, messenger bag, appliquéd cushion and summer dress, amongst over things!
